19 Feb Double award in Los Angeles for our AOVE together with Agatha Ruiz de la Prada
At Señoríos de Relleu we are celebrating great news: our limited edition “1st Harvest Day by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada” has been internationally recognized at the Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition 2025, one of the most prestigious competitions in the EVOO world.
We have been awarded with:
- 🥇 Gold medal for best packaging
- 🥉 Bronze Medal for the quality of extra virgin olive oil
A double recognition that fills us with pride and confirms that this very special collaboration has conquered both inside and out.
🎨 A design that makes you fall in love: gold for the best packaging
The gold medal for design recognizes the unique personality of our special edition signed by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. A recyclable aluminum bottle in magenta and silver tones, dressed with an exclusive and optimistic sleever, reflecting the vibrant essence of the designer.
In addition, the oil is presented in a screen-printed kraft cardboard box, with a thank you message from Agatha inside. This proposal has been valued for its:

- Product functionality and protection
- Ability to excite and differentiate in the marketplace
🫒 Bronze for quality: the taste of the first days of harvesting
The quality of the oil has also been awarded with a bronze medal. It is a “first day of harvest” EVOO, made with olives still green, at their optimum point of freshness, from our farms in Relleu (Alicante).
This blend combines native varieties such as Genovesa, Changlot Real, Alfafara, Manzanilla Villalonga and Picual, and offers:
- Medium-high green fruitiness
- Hints of tomato, olive leaf and nuts
- Balanced mouthfeel, with medium bitterness and persistent spiciness
A powerful, vibrant and very healthy oil, rich in natural antioxidants.

Organized by Fairplex (California), the LA International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition is one of the most influential competitions in the world. Receiving two awards in 2025 represents a new step in the international projection of Señoríos de Relleu, and especially of our artistic edition together with Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
