AOVE Señoríos de Relleu Coupage in El Sommelier Magazine May 2012

Arbequina, Changlot Real, Alfafara, Manzanilla Villalonga and Blanqueta. Almazara Señoríos de Relleu, Alicante.

I know well the oil mill and the field, I have been several times in Señoríos de Relléu, among other “excuses” to record the TV program elsumiller.com for TV Information.

The preparation of its maker, Hugo Quintanilla, Agronomist and Forestry Engineer and his right hand, Antonio Palacios, serious manager and marketer with a well structured head, joined to the magnificent olive grove where from the Arbequinas, to the Royal Changlot, Alfafarenca or Alfafara, Manzanilla Villalonga or Blanqueta, with trees mix from the almost millenarian ones to the new ones and the immediate transport to the oil mill, cold extraction … they make a magnificent EVOO.

They lacked the design, the packaging and they achieved it with a note when they obtained recognition at the International Gourmet Show with the aluminum bottle designed by Paula Alenda. The awards in Terra Olivo or Los Angeles attest to the level achieved in a short time.

The shades of green, the depth of the vegetable notes, artichoke, freshly mown green hay, raf tomato plant, apple, raw almond … open the way to a mouth full of intense aromas, fruity, slightly spicy and bitter, with fruit and memories floral present, but, fundamentally elegant and with an enormous quality.

Our score: 9.20 / 10 points
